Nice appartment, though a little dark. After all, Cornell would have a
bright light in the center of the ceiling. :-)

Your image reminds me immediately of Half-life 2. There are some places in
the game that have the same "feel"... I wonder if anyone else who has played
the game would agree. And if that isn't a *huge* compliment to Half-life 2,
I don't know what it is.

Anyway, fantastic image. I like the way light is "indirect only"... it gives
a kind of cozy feeling. It's the kind of place I'd love to photograph on a
lazy summer afternoon.

You have a way of filling space *just* enough. There is an inviting
pattern over the whole image that allows a person to wander in it
without being drawn forceably to any one point. Unapologetically simple.
The room is complete, and there are no attempts to fill the "blank"
spaces with wallpaper patterns or procedural, algorithmic details
(greebles). Reminds me of Georgio De Chirico. Beautiful.

You're right, I think it is mosltly due to the tiled floor which is similar
to the one in nova prosprect. And of course the piping, and ventitalion
shafts look familiar.

It's not only a compliment to HL2, but also to LightBeam who seems to be
capable of catching an atmosphere.

Great image!

Agreed. Though perhaps some higher rad settings are in order, unless the
  "mottled" look is intentional?
