Howdy,

lighthouse at the shore .... wings created canadian geese (wingsup, 
wingsdown) then created the flock. irregular bricks used as skin for 
lighthouse. used media for beacon in lighthouse and the horizon. jpeg looked 
crappy so I posted png file. comments!

Jim,
At first glance I took the geese to be UFOs... .  .
Do they have incredibly white bellies? Are they catching light from the beam 
or some other source?
Wings against sky - poor contrast.
Given the atmospheric background, it would be nice to see scatter from the 
lighthouse beam.
Nice balance for the composition.

yes they have white bellies .... and yes there is a close in light source to 
shed some light on the base of the lighthouse ....
I'm going to work on colors and ambient on the geese (not 100% happy with 
them)

yikes .... I tried but couldn't get it the way I wanted .... any ideas?

Oh yeah .... anyone have any clues as to why focal blur did a better job of 
removing the fuzzy appearence of the railings at the top of the lighthouse 
than AA did!!!!
