Hi,

some minor and not so minor changes since take 2. There is a new
stripe on the floor, I moved one of the string instruments a little
bit to remove an unintended coincidence, added some normals to the
surfices and some image map bricks, broken a hole through a wall,
added an image map showing a wall segment from a medieval castle
(Turku Castle in South-Western Finland, my own photo, also the
bricks).

I'm fascinated by your chess pieces, I'd love to see one close-up.
;)

Overall, this project is very enjoyable for me. I'm liking the
'hole' idea very much, too. I think it adds a sense of mystery to the
image, > "What's in there?"

Thank you for sharing that. Fantastic idea! I was seeing 'solid'
colours in your original image posted in this group, and in this
image, because of the distance, and was wondering how you were doing
that - now I know. Maybe a small scale-up, and rest it on some kind of
interesting metal(?)/spiky point thing, (like it's balancing?)

Just a suggestion, my mind went into Pov-Ray/Wings over-drive with
this...

The new window on the castle is a brilliant idea! It precipitates the scene
(the viewer in fact) into yet another mental dimension/leap and increases
the dream-like quality. Only contemplation remains...
Goes in the direction of a zen koan...
