His color is:

color rgbft <0.27255,0,0, 0.8, 0.4>
or
color red 0.27255 green 0 blue 0 filter 0.8 transmit 0.4
                   ^^^^^^^
Please explain how he could reduce the green level more! ;-)

My main problem is with the stain itself, not the texture. in a few spots, we
can see the underside of the spheres used to make the stain itself. Not good.

Ooops I misread the .8 as being the green component.

Well I was trying to ge a driped pool, so when I saw his stock shape I just
flatened it and got aprox. what I wanted, as it stands this is what I'm
useing, because I can't find anything that I like better......I also don't
know how to modify the is thing :-).
#declare blood=
isosurface {
function{
f_sphere(x, y, z, 1.8) - (-f_snoise3d(x*1.5, y*1, z*1)*2.25)
}contained_by { sphere {<0,0,0>, -3.3 } }
accuracy 0.003
max_gradient 5
scale 0.5
texture{pigment{
color rgbft <0.27255,0,0, 0.8, 0.4>}}
rotate<0,20,0>
translate <-0.2, 1.3, 0>
scale <2,2,0.05> scale 2.0 translate -1.25*z};

Why shouldn't you try a spheres blob?

Marc
