Hi

Shouldn't this be 2004?
SCNR

Nice image, btw!

I like it very much. Nice use of focal blur too.
Do you remember my image of a week ago?
It used a separate chrome "crown" where the hook attaches
to the ornament. What I did not do, and you did, is show the
smooth transition from sphere to "nipple" protrusion at the
top. How did you model that?

A few years ago William Fawcett (a Hall of Fame image) made some very
realistic looking ornaments, but I don't think his had smooth transition at
the top
nipple either, but the crown part was nicely detailed.

Why? Surely Christmas this year is in 2003.

It's only if you think the image refers to the new year that it should
be 2004, and frankly, I've never associated baubles with new year.

Jamie.

no, no, don't... it was intended to be a joke ;) Well, surely it's
already too late for me now.. This shouldn't have been a
criticism.

I think it's a nice idea and the golden numbers on the spheres are looking
great. Of which material/texture are the spheres in the middle made of?
