Is there any povray.org account at Zazzle?
We could render this image for it.
I have prepared high resolution image maps for houses. But I
don't know if it's a good idea to upload it to p-b.scene-files.
Those files will take a lot of space. The maps for one house in
JPEG format will occupy about 500K.

Gena.

Maybe this is because clouds have ambient finish.
I couldn't achieve desired colors with diffuse finish.

See my comments to Jeremy's post.

Turned out nice, sadly i did not have much time recently to participate.
A few things that could still be improved probably:

- the sails could use some dirt
- the contrast between the reddish buildings in the foreground and the
gray church in the back is quite striking
- the texture of the boats

Same as clothings of peoples there.

I agree image is stunning :)
But still it has a little artificial-look, imho mostly due to low-contrast
and some textures still beeing too "clear" (especialy with low contrast)

Actually, I didn't want to make another posting to this group without a new
picture but this Capriccio really needs to be commented.. Just one single
word: wow!

I followed the development of the Capricio from
the start with increasing awe. This is *really* one
of the very nicest pictured rendered this year.

Best,
