"Toy look" is an interesting observation.
A lot of times when I look at my own stuff, it looks like
miniatures of some type, even when the scale between
objects is realistic.
Is this because the texture size is to big for the size
of the objects?
Can't figure it out ...

Fairly simple actualy,
1) The objects are too perfect
2) All lights/shadows/textures are too perfect
3) There is no size reference

I am pretty proud of the textures on the tiles and on
the wood and metal in the barrel. I find it quite hard
to get realistic-looking metals in POV-Ray, so when I
am able to do it, I feel very happy.
The pumpkin, though, is not so great.
Here is a very large version of the image for closer
inspection.

Very nice !
You can be proud of tile and wood texture :)
pumkin (if you turn to simulate a true one) has to much specular don't you
think?
Now, you know, I'm french and I think you could improve bottles and barrel
modelling:
bottles: transition between the neck and the shouders is too abrupt, you'd
get a better smoother shape using a lathe or a SOR than CSG as I think you
do.
Barrel: boards (or whatever name they have) are not well joined.

Marc

Marc:
Thanks for the responses. I will actually check and see
if I can find a web pages that has different types of wine
bottles. In my mind, that was what a wine bottle looks
like, but I have a feeling I was wrong ...
Yes, the pumpkin is too specular ...

Here is a good one also:

I like the Bordeaux shape with the "shoulders." I could
probably do that with CSG, instead of having to diddle around
with a Lathe.

Yes if you have no lathe editor, I agree
