Or a line of lemmings coming from around the back and jumping off the cliff
in the foreground?

Or a pink flamingo coming in for a landing with its feet forward and wings
outstreched?

Or a tiger in the grass sleeping on it's back with it's paws in the air?

I think I like it more with only natural features, like trees and the
like. But it's just my opinion.

I like it better without the additions. If it looks empty at a large size,
then this might just be a picture which isn't meant to be a poster.

Rock texture is much better! The objects do change the whole scale and
perspective... hmmm... the parasol doesn't fit, but chair looks good.

Birds would be good to break up the open space. Or maybe another fractal or
two drifting down out of the sky...?

Well I felt it looked empty at any size.

Doh! I hit send before I finished typing!

What I was going to say was: I felt it looked empty at any size, plus I don't
think there's such thing as a good image which isn't meant to be a poster!

I'm sure I can capture this feeling in a poster, I just need to put a little
work into it.

Woohoo! at last somebody noticed :)

Yeah I like the chair (did you see the close-ups I posted as a reply to grassy
v2?) I think I'll leave it out of this scene for now, but put it back in later
to see if it could work.

I've been trying to think of something to do with more fractals, the best I
could come up with was some fractal clouds but they would look out of place. I
don't want more of this kind of fractal, because I feel it works better being so
out of place.

No, this is a picture about a julia fractal, not about small mammals with
suicidal tendencies.

> Or a pink flamingo coming in for a landing with its feet forward and wings

Interesting idea. The colour would offset the blues and greens nicely. Though it
may be a little beyond my abilities.
My current working version of the scene has a big space of water suitable for a
bird to be landing on, so I'll bear it in mind.

> Or a tiger in the grass sleeping on it's back with it's paws in the air?

Tigers don't sleep like that, they curl up i balls like domestic cats, or lie on
their bellies. A tiger might look good (probably a white one though, yellow
would blend into the grass too much), but it seems illogical. Well, if there's
any logic in a floating rock.

Hey I just had an idea! What if I have a dolphin jumping out of the sea in the
middle distance, and the splash behind him froms the shape of another fractal?
I think I might try that :)

Yours and mine, and several other people. I'm moving in that natural direction
now, we'll see how v4 turns out :)
