Hi all,

This is my first post on pov.bin.img, and guess what I'm posting ...
Well the field is not that much of a checkered floor, but the spheres
are definitly reflexive.

triangulation algorithm), the whole scene cost me some 1500 lines of
povray code, and it was the most complicated I ever did with lines
intersection computing, triangle geometry, trigonometry ... So believe
me : I'll use this code again. I might release it some day, when I have
cleaned it.

The scene was rendered with radiosity and a few simple textures.

Any remarks or comments ?

JC

It looks very nice. I'm intrested in the code for the floor.

I fear that the "first post level" will increase with every
"newbie"-posting. The last "first postings" had a very high level already...

Keep up the work!

Hi,

Are the spheres the centers of the voronoi-cells?
I am also very interested in the code you used for this.

Hi,

Yes, the spheres are at the centers of the cells.
The code definitly needs some cleaning, and I have still a bug to fix.
It's also mostly in french, but should be usable anyway. I'll work on
releasing it ASAP.

Well done.
I like this image and the contrasts (sharp black, rounded white etc)
but ...

> The scene was rendered with radiosity and a few simple textures.

... I don't feel that the spheres' highlight matches their reflection.
Maybe reduce the size of the highlight?

Alf
