That would be right if the orreries were revolving in a counterclockwise
direction. Someday when Ive got an astronomy book at hand, I'll have to
check that out.

Yes, that's why its called the Sun Sign, because the Sun's apparent position
is in that sign for the month.

Probably the absence of Jupiter would be considered a larger technical flaw
than whether the dance is deosil or widdershins. But I don't think that
detracts from the artistic merit of the work.

Hi, Yes, I found your picture while I was searching the web for
orreries. Very nice! I was almost going to hang it on
the wall in my pic, but thought that might be a bit cheeky :-)

I've kind of decided to leave this one alone for a while, I've got what
I wanted out of it -- a lot of fun and a great learning exercise. I might
come back to it when I know more sdl and can make something more of it.
