Hi,
I was NOT criticizing Andrew's work which is a nice picture :-)
I was playing at a kind of Rorschach test.
I agree we don't need to see something representative in every image or
paint.
But in this case, shapes and colors immediately made me feel the sweet taste
of a sugar block dipped in coffee.

BTW Andrew, did you give a try at MLPov's bockeh focal blur?
IMOH it gives a better quality and more natural (pigment controlled) blur
than official version(squared).
You can find this patch here http://pov.monde.free.fr/mael/mlpov081eng.html

Cheers
Marc

No Marc, I didn't, but I don't know why I didn't think to try it. I have MLPov already
and
have played about with bockeh FB. I will re-render and post the scene again (complete
with a
few minor changes)

All the best,

Andy Cocker

I was just pointing out the use of the word "abstract" Most people call
non-objective art abstract.

Abstract is a non realistic depictions of a subject.
Non-abjective does not depict anything but the art.

It is very common to see things in non-objective art. That is where the
Rorschach test comes in.

Sorry if I sounded like I had problems with your comments. I was just
passing on some of this costly education of mine.

I am looking forward to more work like this.

Mmm, that could SO be me... But hey, let's be seriouse here - I couldn't do
realistic if I tried! LOL

But getting back to the point...

I like this image. It's simple, but it's cool.

Hope you don't get "un-stuck" too soon - I rather like where you're at now
;-)
Andrew.

Lol no offence at all :)
I must say that English isn't my language so I can miss important parts of a
message
