As you can see, I have been continuing my work on modelling and haven't done
much with the textures yet. I've been working on the belaying pins and
ropes....first experience with random numbers and sphere sweeps.

I apologize for the file size, but I wanted to share as much detail as
possible.

Comments and criticisms welcome and appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

This looks like a real ship! :o) The details lift it above an ordinary
computer generated image. I'm impressed, also by the original design of the
Niagara.. You've chosen a good camera angle.. The ropes are nice, even if
you haven't used a formula to make them 'hang'.. But I only notice this on
the sails - on the top of this rendering - those ropes look like torus's.

Looking forward to see more!
Regards,
Hugo

Excellent. That is a true sh!tload of detail. The planks look wrong to me.
They are too thick or too short. The ropes on top do need a little work, but
the ropes hanging on the bottom of the image are very convincing.
