Did you know that Jonas Olsen in 1998 made a program for making
Povray scene and include files from gerber and aperture files?
Also with a lib, but not so nice as yours.

I am testing it at this moment

Great !!!

I have contacted Jonas Olsen. He has stopped his project years ago
but wil restart it if there is interrest. My plans are to make
a good study of the gerber format. Starting with the cam tool of the
(for small boards) free Eagle schematic/pcb design tools to generate
the gerber files. Next standarisation of the components ( starting also
according to the Eagle libs ) and last a merge of the tools from
Jonas Olsen (gbr2pov and erend) to convert the gerber information to
pov.

Who is interrested?

1) People who supply contributions for de electronic component lib

2) People who work on de convertion of the gerber format to pov

Greetings...

Ooeps....

I was trying to invent the weel again.

Afther downloading (1 min), reading the readme.txt (5 min),
installing (1 min) and testing (1 min) the results (with
the example of Eagle) where perfect.

URL's:
http://www.matwei.de //Hier gibts aktuelle Versionen des ULP
http://www.cadsoft.de //Hersteller von Eagle

The only disadvantage is that it works ONLY with Eagle and not with
other gerber files.

Matthias Weisser (author of this software) asked to donate components
for his libs.

Greetings...
Wijnand
