i made a few changes to this pic. its not coming along as fast id hoped
(buying a house) but what the heck. i know the books still need a bit more
variety and probably a few less trees cos i spent so much time on that media
sky and you can hardly see it.

comments/criticism?

cheers,
john

Great job on the lighting--very warm feeling to it. How many lights, what
kinds, colors etc? Radiosity?

The candles are cool, but they don't seem to contribute to the light at all.
Perhaps my only addition would be to make their contribution a little more
obvious.

This is a very intriguing picture. The enigma of it draws the viewer
in. Technically there are a lot of interesting and hard to achieve
elements. The flow of the woodgrain on the table-stem and the play of
the belt and cloth at the figure's waist are my favorite moments. The
texture of and the pose of the dog, my least favorite. The animation of
the human figure is terrific!

they are internal functions using helix1 and helix2 from functions.inc.
with the candlestick i used a blob between a sphere and a helix. hope that
helps a bit.

nah im afraid not. was just the standard poser 4 man. the only bit i
changed was his face to try and give him a 'weathered' look.

nice singing. catchy tune ya got there :)
