Hi. As usual, this image is a spin-off from an idea I get. <g> Anyway, it's
done with noise, both for the leaves and the trunk. The trunk was the
original intent of the image, and was supposed to be a candle. Enjoy. Oh,
btw, they're all the same tree, just rotated. Also, the trunks had some
missing chunks, which I filled in in Photoshop. Perhaps you'd like to see
the original. I don't think the chunks should occur.

I know it's not supposed to be, but the 2nd and 3rd trees make a surprisingly
good cross-eyed stereogram.

What did these "chunks" look like? And are you using a clipping shape?
If you are, the trunk might be intersecting the clipping shape to make
those missing areas.
Otherwise, maybe if you raise the max_gradient value...that might help
if it is the solver algorithm having trouble. Also try adjusting the
precision value.

A while loop placing the noisey clumps around the top of the trunk would look
cool :)
What does the code you use look like? I mean for the isosurface. Perhaps you
are using accuracy and max_gradient, even though they don't need to be used for
this function. Just a thought, since unnecessary use of those two items can
give you a broken-looking isosurface.

That's neat!
BTW, I once found an "accidental stereogram" in a medical book- a few CG'ed views of a
muscle-and-bone body from different angles;
looked at it a few seconds, and boom! it popped out of the page.
