A while loop placing the noisey clumps around the top of the trunk would look
cool :)

What does the code you use look like? I mean for the isosurface. Perhaps you
are using accuracy and max_gradient, even though they don't need to be used for
this function. Just a thought, since unnecessary use of those two items can
give you a broken-looking isosurface.
