Here is a really weird abstract thingy I made. Textures were hand-coded (no
texture editors), and objects modeled in wmodeller. Render time = very low.
I
couldn't get focal blur to work with lens fx though... Any idea why?
What do you think?

Yeah, focal blur blurs the objects (usually discs) that are close to the
camera (so that they are not behind something). No clues on a solution,
though.

I don't know if there's anything to "get" here, but if there is I don't get
it. The background is nice, though. You might consider compressing your
images before posting. A small pic like this could probably compressed to
20kb without a noticeable loss in quality.

Yeah, I shoulda JPEG'd it. ALthough, PNG is still fairly good compression,
128kb is excessive (by a bit). (To SHAY): Don't worry: there is nothing to
"get." I was just sorta pissed when I made the img, and it ended up weird.
(TO Ray:) Ray, do you TRACE? :-D. Sorry, couldn't resist. I figured the
problem was something of the sort. DO you know a fix?
ALso, here's another (MUCH SMALLER) abstract.

If you are using Chris Colefax's Lens Effects set effect_always_on_top to
off, but that can cause the effects to go behind things.

Very cool, that goes into my wallpaper collection

Looking again, it does sort of have that feel to it.
I like your first abstract a lot better, because even though it is very (and
perhaps purposefully) ugly, it does appear very random. The second looks a
little cliche.
