I did have it at 9 billion and then changed it to 3, but quite possibly.
You die at 30yrs old and float off into the atmosphere.

Why bother dragging a planet around? Just make a big ring, spin it for
gravity, and hold a ball of plasma in the center as an artificial sun.
Use directed beams of ions from the plasma ball as thrust. With the
amount of material used in that structure, you will have something much
more mobile and with more capacity, you could easily make its surface
area larger than that of the Earth itself.
Or just adjust a few planetary orbits and take the whole solar system
with you.

If you bring the planet then you don't have to pack.

I really like the idea behind this pic but not a big fan of the pic itself.
I think if we were gonna haul a planet around we'd pick one that was much
prettier than a gas giant. I'm thinking dark greens and blues. No atmosphere
either because the ship takes care of that. Also, where is the propulsion?

But everyone now alive will be centuries dead by then. At present
projections earth's population will peak at 10,000,000,000 at most,
and then go into decline after that, as the entire world becomes
developed, and couples for the most part decide that two kids is
enough.
