Well it is not exactly a metalic sphere but everyone says I should make
lots of them so here it is
;)

its kinda funny
I had a tonne of problems with the handle
then I gave up and slept on it (not my computer)
and woke up at 6 am this morning, then retyped the code where the
problem spot It was such a stupid error a calculation problem I wanted
4.9 when I typed 5.1
auggg
oh well
I'm having so much fun with povray
I'm new so any critics would be good and suggestions would be better
But be warned that the real color of this cup is midnightblue not chrome
I used that for a laugh for everyone :)

Nice cup, but you need a sky for it to reflect as well...the gray looks
kind of empty. Also, you could get rid of the dark horizon by simply
using a big box as the floor...big enough to give the same effect but
small enough not to get dark. Or just spotlight the cup, so everything
else fades to black.

Try adding a sky, either a plane or large dome will do the trick.
give the ground a different texture, a nice wood perhaps
and add photons :)

If you place a metallic or glassy cup on a table in the sunlight, you will
see strong caustics (reflected light) on the table. Without sunshine the
effect is still there but much more subtle.
