Hi
This is the final model of the Torii I've been working on.
It could have more work on it, but a week ago I changed my
mind and decided to enter in the IRTC once again so I have been
very busy working on my new image for the current topic.
So this is another "frost" project to add to my list.
I hope you like it.

I like the model but the texturing is strange, i think.
I presume that you used image maps in the larger columns, but the red
background of your image map file is not matching with the red on the rest
of your model, at least that's how it looks to me.

What about adding (when you find time) more elements to the scene ? It would
look even better

Keep up the good work :-)
Will

Well, actually the larger columns have a layered texture, the bottom one has
the
same red pigment as the whole torii plus a nomal bumpmap, and the top one
has
an image map with alpha channel and the only visible part is the one that
draws a
dragon. The finish of both textures are the same,
so I fear it is due this alpha channel. I'm trying to get rid of it playing
with ambient
and diffuse values. Let's see if it works.

That's something I will try to do. If the image goes ahead, I'll post the
result.

Now I think problem with red texture in the larger columns
is solved.
Isn't it so?
