I was much impressed with what Mael (and other's similar renders) using
media in a statue model so I had to try it too. Not my model of course, got
it at 3D Cafe. I put a flag clip art graphic onto a bicubic patch and set
it in front of the previously rendered image map of the Liberty picture.
It's not very good, I was trying for a jade statue with a golden torch
flame. The media wasn't cooperative.
I tried to transmit away the blue sky background but that left sharp edges.
So, that's where I stop and post here since I doubt it'll get much better
:-)

If you could make the green part whiter, it would be better, I think... But
nice anyway. :)

Is there a reason your JPEG image has a .png extension?

Must be the first time that's happened. Was converted from png to jpg using
PSP and the extension should have switched then. Unless I typed .png onto
the end by mistake, if so I thought it would append a .jpg anyway. Thanks
for bringing it to my attention.
Attached is one with jpg extension so it can be trouble-free.
