I think I'm done. At the higher resolution, you could see some more
samples/intervals were needed, but resized, it looks perfect. Behold 2 years
of work... well, not 2 years of work, but I started toying with this 2 years
ago, and now I'm done... I hope. If anything, I'm waiting to buy my new
computer before doing any more work on this. Enjoy! Oh, and thanks for
rendering this for me, Rick!

Real good clouds but I like it a lot better if darker than what I see it as
here. Hopefully I'm not raining on your parade by saying that. They've
come a long way if I'm thinking correctly that this is what had the unwanted
blanking or media cutoff in the distance.

There's always a "but"... <sigh>

Oh, darker is easy. Just increase the extinction to taste.

Luckily, no. :)

Actually, I eliminate that by using a big box (100000 units both ways on x
and z) and of course, fog.

Thanks! :) Wouldn't have posted them unless they were at least "good".

I'll be posting it shortly (unless I forget... remind me). You just need to
keep the render time in mind, as well as the fact that at 1600x900 (and less
as well up to a point, I suppose) you can see they need more samples, and
those will slow it down more.

As it says on the upper left-hand corner of the image, 8 hours, 31 minutes
and 36 seconds. It may be less than that, because Rick started the render
while he was still using the computer and only set it at highest priority
when he went to bed an hour later.

Looks sweet resized down - must admit I had to do this to see it before I
sent it over as my poor ole vid don't do 1600x900 :(

Wow, impressive, maybe:

- add a nice landscape beneath
- animate it :-)
- show us the code

BTW, does your code allow to structure the clouds somehow like form them
to cloud banks etc. ?
