Don't know where this is going yet if anywhere - there's lots wrong with it.

I wanted to get puddles of water by dishing the the field here and there.
But I can't get it to work the way I want.

I've posted the code in p.t.s.f.

If any of you isosurface wizards can help I'd be grateful

Mick

Except for the way the furrows are going right through the roots of the
trees I don't see anything wrong.
That meaning I think you'll have to explain more, and I've even used a
tractor and plowed fields before :-)
Btw, looks like yet another Hazelgrove great in the works.

Hi Mick,

That's a beautiful picture there. I love the
trees and tha hazy horizon. One thing though,
the furrows would not be so close to the
trees. And if those trees are being worked
around, they'd be growing from what would
look like an island in the farm field.

The colors are really lovely.

Wishing you a great day!

Very moody image. I don't think the overall setting needs any additions,
perhaps some little detail here and there to bring it to life. No clouds, IMHO
they'd make the sky look too busy; the current murky haze is perfect.
As others have said, there should be a little mound under the tree, maybe
grassy, but maybe not.
The water is a bit difficult to make out in this image, but it somehow
seems too clean - it should be muddy.
Lastly, I don't think the tree, esp. the foliage would look so colourful
when viewed against the sun, hasy though it may be. I'd expect to see more
of a shilouette.
Great work, can't wait to see where it goes from here.

It feel so empty. It's kinda sad. Beautiful, though.

very good work! i would try to add a a slight rolling efefct to the ground -
maybe a few more trees in the distance (to far to see detail and colour tho)

Oooooh - I really like this one! Don't quite know why, but it does a great
job representing despair, death, etc. I think it may have something to do
with those furrows that never end, they just disappear into the misty dark
nothingness without ever reaching a goal. And there's not a lot of life left
in those trees (until Spring, anyway.) The sky is fantastic!

Regards,
Dave

Lovely, really lovely. As others have said, the blossom/leaves colour seems
too strong for this viewpoint.

Great atmosphere!

The ground texture looks a bit too uniformly colored, no effect from the
illumination visible. Tree with splinetree macro?
