This is a clay model of a piranha fish. I made this clay model back when I
was a kid. Do not try to do a psychological analysis.
Anyway, I've always liked it, so I decided to try to model it in POV-Ray,
and here's the result so far.
There's some things I want to improve on the model, and I also imagine that
this image could be a good occasion to try out radiosity (which I have not
tried before).
I'd like to hear your comments and suggestions for improvement, both
regarding how to obtain photorealism as well as artistic advise (camera,
lights).

Hi Rune
I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a photo - great job!

It has a great texture to it, radiosity could really make it look more life
life (as a clay sculpture, of course). It's a great piece of modeling.

Whoa, I had to look twice to make sure you weren't BS-ing us with a photo - in
fact I'm still a bit suspicious :)
This looks like an ideal subject for radiosity lighting. I like the camera angle
as it is, the viewpoint gives the fish a slightly maniacal air... Not sure what
the setting should be, perhaps none is needed.

Very realistic, i would really try radiosity lighting.
Maybe put it right in front of a goldfish bowl... :-)
