Big, round heads don't look very realistic to me... it would be more
convincing if it were more detailed.

I'll try to squeeze in some experimenting this week.

I've been doing some experiments animating the bursts, and it looks like the
eggs from alien, bursting open, and melting like wax as they expand. :)
Otherwise, very realistic, using something like this:
#declare Clock = ((From(0,0) To_Using(1,1,"A")) + (From(0,0)
To_Using(1,1,"S"))*2)/3;
Can you see Divx? I could post some animations I've done. The first one is
<30kb, and the second one is <260kb.

I think you have the effect of all the light radiating from the lava pretty
good.
I like the concept you have going here. >;)

How about mpg? Just about everyone can use that!

I *can* see DivX, but not everybody can.
I say, go to DivX when the IRTC does it.
If the IRTC uses mpg1 I believe there's a good reason...

Maybe. But I don't have Poser myself anyway, so, as you say, it would depend
on somebody else donating a posed model to me...

I wonder what results you will get...

Hmm, interesting...

I've tried to animate it myself too, and as I said, I don't think it's very
realistic. But then, realism is not everything...
Anyway, feel free to post your animations in p.b.a. I'd like to see them.

Thanks. I'm using high ambient values plus a negative light source from
above to simulate light coming from below and the sides.

I like it, some things i would suggest:
- more roughness to the rocks
- some kind of crust on some parts of the 'liquid' - just like on lava or
liquid iron - i think that would make things look even better.

Hey, remember that Twisted Sister song called "Burn in Hell" - the one that
they were filming a video for in "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" when Pee-Wee was
riding his bike through the movie studio? What a great song!
