I know it's early but I thought I'd post this now.

Initially there were two palm trees on the right side, but I thought
they cluttered the scene. The wise men are created using a
partially transparent imagemap. The ground is an isosurface.

Looks great, but if I brighten it up I see what looks like 
the rad splotches underneath and around the camels, but 
I don't think that you intended it to be viewd so brightly.

Strange, there's no rad used. Maybe the specular on the desert sand
Might also be jpeg artifacts. I brightened it up and it looked badly
jpeged.

Nope. It's intended as a silhouette

I like the "traditional media" look to the scene,and the layout is
great, but if that bright flare is coming from the Star of Bethlehem,
then shouldn't they by going towards it?

their path could not always be pointing in the
