You will have to take that up with the architechts. I'm just copying.

You are probably right, but I was hoping that somebody had already done
the conversions, and was willing to share. I was in luck, because Gilles
Tran has been kind enough to send me some of his.

Thank you.

I don't. If I stand on the street looking up at the church, I see
falling verticals. The same if I take a photo (see attachment), so why
should'nt I have them in my renderings.

Just about right. I'm going for a winter scene, as I don't want to put
leaves on all those trees and bushes.

Than you, Txemi, I'll look in to it, but fortunately Gilles Tran has
sent me ome, that are already converted.

If you're not satisfied with the trees, you may want to check out POV-Tree.
http://propro.iis.nsk.su/go/Wshop/tools/tools.html
But I warn you, the include files that POV-Tree produces are huge (15 mb or
so), so get ready to do some "Parsing..."

Thank you, but I have tried it, and I liked the results I got with it
even less. Problem is, I'm not just looking for something that looks
convincingly like a tree, I want it to look like the specific trees,
that stand around the real church.
