This attachment seems broken, at least it's not readable with Netscape.

I am impressed! This must have taken quite some time. Your next step has got
to be a full-length lego movie?

I should try Ldraw myself, finally. But how efficient is the transfer to
POV? I've only seen rather messy code output from those converters.

This is done using Anton Raves's Lego library, so no Ldraw, only typing (as 
it should be ;)

The Lego Ferari that was shown here a few days ago is a ldraw model that 
was converted to POV

It took quite a bit of time in total, but I have been working on this image 
for the last year or so (but sometimes with very large gaps) and some of 
the models were made years ago.

Nice work, Thomas! It really looks like a lego box! You inspired me two
weeks ago to try lego myself, so give me a year (or two) and one day I'll
post a Lego model here, too. Perhaps a single brick only ;-)

I started with LeoCad which exports directly to POV. Nice to start with, but
no quality bricks. But it also exports Ldraw and there are good Ldraw-->POV
converters. You can recognize the converted bricks by their numbers and
alter your model in POV easily. It's no 'spaghettimesh'-export!
Using converters like L.C. Hassings L3P there are options to draw the 'LEGO'
symbol on every stud, and every little brick has rounded corners, and and
and... give it a try!
