Seems a little too bright. Maybe you should darken it and add radiosity?

The snow seems to look too much like noise, and too uniform in size, I
think. It almost looks like a repeated pattern against the sky. And the
lamppost could use some work.

On the other hand, there's a high level of detail, which is good. The scene
is well laid out, too. Nice job so far.

That banding in the snow is still visiible.

The shadows seem too strong and the ladies too scantilly dressed!

Great work though :)

There is a great lack of suitable medieval clothing for a "COLD" scene...
alas it will have to do... I've scoured the corners of the POSER world and
could come up with not much more.

Even a shawl or two would have been better.

I like the additions, but I think that your first version had a better look
to it. The yellow glow from the lantern against the largest building added a
lot, and the snow seemed less bright.

I can still see banding in the snow as others have said.

I think that this image is a real contender for first place.

You do amazing work, but I must say that I'm surprised those things aren't
beach chairs after all. Are they some kind of marketplace stall??

Yes, they are a medieval style market stall... I'm partial to castles and
medieval era "junk"...

And close behind that is Roman "junk".

The lanterns may come back... at 1h:30m to render the full boat w/o extra
lights is about all I can contend with right now.
I'll probably run two or three "finals" and pick the best one.

I've been working the snow and with what time it adds into the render with
extra levels of snow is rough as well... this image has two layers of
snow... tried one with 8 and that would have been a 4h+ run. I guess I'll
have to go back to setting off the long renders overnight since I can't
afford a faster system. :-)
