Burqa.

Deaken (who only knows because of an interesting usenet thread that briefly
        touched on that topic)

That sounds more appropriate for Omar than Bin Laden, but yeah, wouldn't
hurt. :)

Cisco IOS error messages also (almost) fit that format.

follow-ups set.

I find I have a deep seated anger at the atrocity of Sept 11. I recall reading
that a partisan in this cried that "the streets of America would stink with the
dead." And then it came true. The image in question is a gut level response.
And I for one finds that it resonates with my own feelings.

No.

We (people from democracy) must be very proud of (and vigilant) the respect
of laws and persons. This is the strongest massage we can send to those who
intend to bring back our world to ignorance and brutality.

Middle ages should stay in the past, as well as far west.

Chaps.

So you feel that the folks who did Monte Python -really- want to go
around cutting off people's limbs? Robin Williams did a long improv about
crippled people baking in the sun, do you think he has the "mindset" of
someone who would really tie a legless man out in the dessert? I heard a
doctor joke about getting a phone call while operating on someone's
intestines and having them trail behind him as he left surgery, do you think
that he wants to kill people by disembowelment?

More to the point, do you think that John is the type of person who
would torture a prisoner? Do you think that you can tell this about him by
his joke?

    Follow ups set -again-...

Absolutely not.

Senseless violence is in no way the answer to senseless violence.

That's not the point, but if you think it is, more fool you.

It seems to me that by making these pictures we only make everyone more
angry. I realize it's a statement about how we are all feeling, but it also
becomes propaganda. I think all of us as artists have a responsibility not
to encourage the public to think in negative, violent ways. They can do
that enough on their own.
