I found it tasteless, unseemly and funny. But then I have all the "Truly
Tasteless Jokes" books...

People who make a joke of something are not necessarily of the "mindset"
of people who would actually do the same thing. The sad fact is that your
humorless, self-satisfied spiritual pride is more typical of the "mind-set"
of people who would actually -do- such things.

Did I ever accuse anyone of actually trying to choke anyone? Or even of
being of the "mindset' of someone who would? I didn't think so, thank you.
Of course there -were- no -real- choking jokes here, just some smarmy
comments implying a wish that Bush would choke, which I simply commented on.
I did not accuse anyone of the type of cruelty Greg linked to John.

My surname is VanSickle. I capitalize the S but I don't include it in
my initials. I suppose that in the Netherlands the V is not
capitalized by people who hav that as part of their names (or maybe it
is).
The R stands for my middle name (Robert).
Regards,
John

The Taliban who were shipped to Cuba were shaved, for hygiene reasons.
The spokesman for the US government pointed out that there is no
Koranic requirement for men to have beards, ergo the shaving did not
violate the religion the men professed to have.
