I thought about calling it 'Maelstrom' but decided that would be rather
pretentious :-)

Maybe, but "Abstract Swirl" seems a bit wishy-washy - what about Goterdamerung?

I use a couple of POVMan shader pigments that I designed to use in a
type 0 displacement warp.

I'll post the source files in p.b.s-f, but you'll only be able to use
them if you have POVMan 0.71.4.
