With all that mist around, they would probably be quite visible...unless
they used infrared lasers.
However, it is definitely not obvious they are targeting lasers, the
image needs one that is actually firing to get that idea across. Or an
animation of them momentarily locking onto an incoming blimp, then going
back to guard status after deciding the blimp is "friendly", while the
blimp docks...probably not even practical, especially since the mist and
water would need to be animated.

I just had a thought! They'd look more like targetting lasers if the
weaponry looked more recognisably like a gun!
See, they remind me of the targetting lasers on the shotgun in Quake 3, but
on that it's obviously a targetting laser because we all know what a shotgun
looks like and how it fires and can see the laser isn't coming from the
barrels!
Just a thought.
