I rather like how the pieces are glass.
The background looks a little like a marble texture. If you expand the
scene, you could use that for the texture of a stone table :) Actually, I
wouldn't mind an outdoors table made with something like that IRL
What CPU did you use for it?

Hrm. Probably a few extra hours to do similar for me, then. At least I've
ditched the Cyrix, though :)
Actually, 9 hours isn't half bad. And the results are worth it. An overnight
job on full is better ;)

Very nice. Have you considered adding photons? It would kill your
rendering time, but would could be neat in this scene.

Oops, sorry, Rick. I didn't scroll down enough to realize there were more
posts. I guess what I meant to say is: "I agree with Rick--Try some
photons."

Thats really slick!

Needs a table and a room to go with it. Can you post the source? Is this a
standard Pov-Ray file or do I need some modified version of Pov_Ray ( I run
Solaris for my workstation ).

Dennis Clarke

ps: This would make a nice benchmark image for new processor and OSs. Makes
me wonder if a MAC OS X system with a G4 could crunch it.
