Nice job. The atmosphere, reflections and candle holder model look good.

If you want to strive for perfect image:
-the candlewicks are too clean and sharp. They look too much like
cylinders.
-the material of the candles looks a bit like plastic, especially on the
lowest one, that is also darkest. Too clean, too sharp. Have you tried
blobs? I think making the candle main cylinder of blob and then
subtracting the concave middle with small sphere could work. Or then the
all-famous ISO surfaces...

Yes, have another pic with surroundings (more light). But the rendering
time is very long.... (about 6 hr)

every flame a point light. But it looks definitely wrong!
Lit up my original candle holder, put it on the carpet and looked at it...

Seems to look as in my render, but there isn`t a change in the brightness
of the candles... ?????

On older picture. Not the same flames (not as good as the ones as in the night
picture before IMO) .

Now that's what I wanted to see. But, where's the cool shadows it must be
casting?

I like the general appearance more, of course the other one is much better
concerning the flames. For the different brightness of the candles try
light fading for the candle light sources.

In this case a simple good old lathe object would be perfectly
sufficient. It's much easier to handle than an isosurface.

BTW, you should say isosurface instead of ISO surface, because this has
nothing to do with the International Organization for Standardization.

If you wanted to vary the wicks just a little bit, you could take a section
of torus and make them look bent. Just an idea.
