I hear color is good.
Seriously, i think this stuff is gonna really bring out the contrast.
Many other little things fixed, and i love the clouds.
Comments?

Too bad about the thruster cylinders being disclosed by the atmosphere.

    Got a big one?

Why does it appear so washed out?

I see an ugly issue with the second piece of canvas to the right on the
fortress...the spray just *ends*. Other than that, it rocks.

I'd love to see this rendered higher. : )

The colour on the canvas seems a bit bright (it looks better IMHO on the
blimp where the distance has faded it).

Also, the canvas wrinkles seem too large and have the effect of scaling down
the image. To be honest, I don't like the canvas - it seems too decorative
on such a utilitarian structure.

There seems to be some odd circles showing up (attached img detail)

Other than that, clouds, mist, etc. a great improvement (and a great pic).

One suggestion - can you get the spray on the rocks to go out more, rather
than up?

Also, I'm still a little confused about the geography - is the sea very
shallow, or do the sides of the hole rise from the ocean floor like a
volcano cone?

I disagree. The brightness of the colors is wonderful, IMO.

Whereas I think it adds a much needed human element and contrast. I do
think they're possibly too large (assuming those little bright spots are
windows), but I love the idea and concept.

It looks a little strange to have the flags right in front (behind?) the
thrusters on the near blimp (and I guess the others). Since there is
obvious thrust coming out of those on the station, I have to question it.
On the other hand, it looks cool, and maybe those pods aren't thrusters at
all.

The blimps are larger than I thought. I notice now that the nearest one is
just behind one of the flags in one spot. At least now I have scale. ;)

They are shockwaves that occur when the gases coming out of the
thrusters go from being supersonic to sub-sonic. Any decent picture of
the Space-shuttle taking off also has them.

Hah! I don't remember ever seeing the effect, but if I had I would have
assumed it was some kind of lens flare effect.

IMHO this would be one of those times when reality looks fake. 'Scuse me,
I'm just off to criticise the clouds.

Wanna fight? ;) Well, it will have to be one of those IMHO/IMO things - the
only thing I'd add is that salt water environments and non-faded colours are
not something you come across often.
