Mystery Science Theater 3000, a TV show that mocks old sci-fi films for the
most part.

You're doing a good job of duplicating the environment, and the building's
coming along great. :{)
Roger Dean's art (http://www.rogerdean.com) is one of the core groupings of
inspirational imagery I keep on my computer. Another is Michael Whelan's
(http://www.glassonion.com).
The first Roger Dean image I can recall seeing was Tales from Topographic
Oceans
(http://www.rogerdean.com/scripts/postcards.pl?stage=choose&choice=b6.jpg)
in the form of a postcard when I was vacationing with my family in England
in the 70's. I've been a fan of his ever since.

Actually there's a little bit of that already, if you look at the back
of the wings there's a piece differenced. The sides are supposed to
flare
some as though you took a spoon and hammered it around a pipe.
If I do a difference and scale the sides outward the tip will scale too.

I've seen those too, I'm not sure I'd want to live in one but they're
definately interesting.

I've always liked the Asia sea dragon.

They seem to make a lot of prog-rock references on the show.

Thanks. I haven't been to Dean's website in a while so I'm glad you
included the link. Last time I was there "Blue Dessert" wasn't up but
now there's a nice big picture to go by. I had been using the pamphlet
from the cassette but the sides are chopped off.

Nice stuff. It's now in my bookmarks.

Unless you want to spell like a snooty English translator of classical
literature:
And here with him is the prisoner clairvoyante,
...
And smartly spouting blood he sprays me with
The sombre drizzle of bloody dew and I
