    I'm still workin on the gravestone.  Trying to ENGRAVE the names/letters
into the
stone...but it's not going well.  The whole CSG thing is causing me
problems.

    Actually...that s nothing more than a low resolution image_map
no turbulence or any other modifiers...I'm probably gonna ditch it
for a better image_map though.  (if I can find it)
Was thinking of going with a hardwood floor of some kind.

Why not just use a procedural texture? It would be quite easy to do 
something like that, just use a checker texture map. It would also be 
lower on memory, non-repetitive, easy to change and tweak, etc.
