Filter=0.95 didn't help speedwise. It seems to be VERY fussy about

I love this coloured glass texture.

But get rid of that chequered plane !

Sorry, just checked and see I used finish F_Glass3 from glass.inc
and refraction was 1.5

Yes, I know that plane is boring (to POVers) but I cannot think of
anything else that shows up the refractive stuff. Besides,
non-computer aquaintances seem to expect it :) Any suggestions?
