Just another WIP in my inventory... this one has about 8 hours of work in it
so far. Gads I shouldn't count them like that... scary when I think about
the time I put into these pics.

I think the texturing is pretty good 'cept the hf. The castle structure-wise
looks good too, very strong.

Really nice, but why does the tower wall extend so far down the cliffside?

The resolution of the heightfield is very low, that somehow looks interesting,
but not very realistic.
Geometry looks very nice, only the bridge is a somehow weak construction.
Anyway it's a very good start.

Nice design. And it will be much harder to conquer this one than my
Torganswall :-)
Is there a way to get rid off this vertical lines in the bricks? And I
think, the bricks in the foundation should be much bigger, even if they were
laid the way, they are. Perhaps try an isosurface with a
metric-1-crackle-function an some turbulence (like the upper part of my
walls, perhaps with some tweaking of the form-vector).
I don't know if you plan to add a grating to the outer gateway, but if there
will be one, it won't fit in the part above the gate. Seems to be a
medieval concept to combine a drawbridge with a grating.
More castles!!!

Thats a real nice image - I can see it being real nice when finished. I'm
not exactly sure what the grass is - heightfield, I see the concept of the
green texturing but it doesn't work. For that gorgous image you could apply
a grass macro to the top and have a bit of a cliff stlye edge on the side.
Also on the left you can see some sorta banding with the bricks - though
there are problems with the bricks throughout unfortunately. I'd stick a
bit of a bump map on there too if I were you.

Waah, I can never get plane-texture clouds to look this good.
