That about says it all. If I can figure out how to do the lamp (high
blower), the way I have in mind, I'll be happier.

On to the 'stores selector' panel.

That looks good, I hope to see it 'built in' soon.

Did you use an image_map or object_pattern with text objects for the text ?

Concerning the lamp, i would suggest a transparent sphere (maybe some
radial/quilted, etc. normal) and emitting media inside. You could also try a
glow.

It won't be real soon. I tend to get distracted and this is a scene I am
inspired to do a lot of detailed texturing for.

As I posted somewhere else, there's a ton of image maps involved with this
plane. The object_pattern function will find its way into my work, but I
didn't feel motivated to edit my work (and don't yet, anyway).

What I have so far, is a red tinted egg-shell lens (the High Blower push
button thing is all hollow). I want to put a lightbulb type object inside of
it, with a glowing element. I still haven't 'grokked' media, but I did try
it and wasn't happy. The current glow object was pretty easy to put in, but
I either have a problem with my object, or the glow too easily penetrates
solid objects (I put up a black solid box between a camera and a glow and
you could see the central glow area). Anyway, I wanted to see an open coil
like object glowing with a brilliant output. Like real light bulbs :)

I would post the result, but it doesn't differ much from this one.

Thanks for replying, Christoph.
