...and no media! The glows are all copies of a simple disc, declared once
and repeated with different ambient values.

That's very nice Chris. It's got that magical touch to it. :)

Uhm, very nice!!
"Who needs unofficial patches anyway?"
Just kidding, just kidding!
By the way, I think this presentation form might work well for TonyB's Eye
logo too. ...Tony?

Hi Chris,
I can't believe I'm saying this to *you* but...needs work.
I think the background distracts from the main image.

I agree it's not the most complicated/detailed of images - really, it's just
an excuse to put the logo shape into an image, hopefully helpling to
stimulate some interest in the logo competition (and actually do some
tracing, which doesn't happen for me very often!).
In that vein, here are a few more variations on the theme...both use similar
code that constructs the logo from other shapes. In the first case, the
logo is made from smaller versions of itself (and yes, I tried a logo of
logos of logos, with 20,000+ objects - but as is often the case, the results
just weren't worth the effort!). The second scene (because I couldn't
resist!) is made entirely of julia fractals.

It has more the look of an award that might be handed out as the POV artists
equivalent of the Oscars!!!!!
Looks good though.

Looking at those backgrounds... an expensive way to tile your walls perhaps!
