Hi folks,

I was playing around with the displacement warp just now and came up
with a strange optical illusion. This picture appears to have 3d
structure, but it is just a pigment mapped onto a plane. Wierd huh?

Bye for now,
	Mike Andrews.

This is really nice! I wonder how it would look if you made a heightfield
from it?

I looks like it's got two levels there, and it has a wonderful organic feel to
it. How well does this texure translate into true 3D objects? If H.E. Day used
this he'd have lots of wonderful "organic" ships ala the Vorlons from B5.
