Another "function pattern", this time a 3D fractal. Many of you probably
recognize the Menger sponge, although I twisted it a bit. In some places the
pattern reminds me of gothic tracery, hence the title.
Rendered @ 1152x864 aa 0.1
Time 1:40:28 (0:27:57/1:12:31 parse/trace)
Peak memory used 368424298 bytes (fractal recursion level = 5)
The original 1152x864 PNG will be available at http://www.hot.ee/margusrt/

Hey, I like! The fractal itself is pretty cool, but I like the scene too, and I
like green and gray together. :)

I much like it, care to explain a bit more detailed how you did the texture ?
Maybe the texture's finish could be improved, the highlights on the rounded
shapes don't fit that well to the rest IMO.

Very Nice, you really are developing a great sense of colour and atmosphere.
I can imagine this on curtains in a dark and mysterious medieval room.

I'll just post the code (to p.b.scene-files) Most of it is the macro to create
the fractal object; the pattern stuff is just a few lines towards the end.
The posted version will not allow fractal recursion levels >4 because of
internal limitations of the blob object (I used a rather ungainly hack to get
around this).
The textures themselves are just stock textures from sones.inc
