Hi Tracers!
Now I experimented a little with warps... soon it became clear, that if
at all, only the black_hole warp would possibly in the end lead to
somewhat like cyclone whirls.
I used a turbulent agate texture as basis, tried the inverse mode,
different combinations of strength and falloff values, but the outer
zones of the black_hole appear only to be compressed, but not to be
rotated anyway - there is no spiralling at all!
Then I stumbled upon a mysterious parameter which is listed in the
syntax model, but not at all explained the black_hole sub-section of the
PoV manual: type.
Can anyone here tell me what it is about?
See you in Khyberspace!
Yadgar

i'm not sure, but i don't think type was developed. i think there are
other ways to make the kinds of clouds you want using megapovplus or
perhaps the latest megapov. i believe h.e. day made such a planet, but
didn't release the code. perhaps if you beg he will. :( he did mention
which pattern he used, but i can't recall it off the top of my head.

It doesn't do anything, it is just an unimplemented feature, like
"track" in light_sources.
