i'm not sure, but i don't think type was developed.  i think there are
other ways to make the kinds of clouds you want using megapovplus or
perhaps the latest megapov.  i believe h.e. day made such a planet, but
didn't release the code.  perhaps if you beg he will. :(  he did mention
which pattern he used, but i can't recall it off the top of my head.
