My little artistic fisheye doodles. These are the reduced versions, full
640x640 (~95k) versions are at my website. The background was kept black
to give the illusion that these objects exist independently of our
universe; there is nothing beyond them. I tried to match up shapes with
colors and hardnesses (by use of ior) to get some different themes:

The box... mystical, cognitive, alien

The cone... bold, conspicuous, penetrating

The sphere... cosmic, pulsing, organic

Please comment :)

They can be interpreted any number of ways, IMHO that's what makes them
(and modern art in general) good.

Thankies!
360 fisheye camera
randomly generated, randomly positioned objects
coloration done via HLS distribution functions

For example
   box {
      <rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd)>,
      <rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd)>
      translate rand(Rnd)*z
      rotate <rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd),rand(Rnd)>*360
      pigment {
         color HLStoRGB(
            <rand(Rnd)*70+260,
            rand(Rnd)*.5+.25,
            1-pow(rand(Rnd),2)>
         )
         transmit rand(Rnd)
      }
      #declare Amb = rand(Rnd);
      finish {
         diffuse 1-Amb
         ambient Amb
         reflection rand(Rnd)*.8
         conserve_energy
      }
      interior { ior 1.25 }
   }

Dave, believe me, that second one *IS* amber! Is that possibly what you
were trying to achieve? If you have less 'discs', inside of it, it will look
even more so, (stick a fly in there). You may have stumbled onto something
very nice here! Well done!
  I can't comment on the other two, but they are great as well!

Yeah, I was thinking they looked like some kind of 'portal', like a peephole
or dryer window...
Three scenes? I have five more cookin' up!

Any French speakers care to verify these for me? :-)
