P38. It looks a little simpler than the other one. These remind me of
the B17 and the Nazi planes that they let us tour at the local airport.
It was really cool to see them take off. Can you try to do an animation
of these planes taking off or landing?

If you don't mind me asking:
How do you model your aircraft? All script, use a modeller? And especially,
what do you use as reference?
Like if I were going to use Rhino and model a B25 (something I would like to
do.) I would try to obtain photos or tech drawings from top, left and side.
PS: I agree with Ryan, Grim and Marc-Hendik; the P-38 would make an
excellent subject.

P-38
It's a much more elegant aircraft, IMO.

Hi folks ! :-)
At present, I am working on an F-5E Tiger II jet,
as some of you might know.
This work will be finished soon.
Now I have a question I want YOU to answer:
What shall become my next POVRAY project ?
1. Lockheed P-38 Lightning
(American WW II Long-Range Interceptor / Escort Fighter)
- OR -
2. Sukhoi Su-25 (NATO Codename "Frogfoot")
(Soviet ground attack jet, counterpart to the USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II
aka "Warthog")
Please submit your vote. Thanks !
Jens

My wife suggests the P-38. I have to agree as well.
