Hmm when I first saw the image my impulse was WOW that looks good!!! But on
closer inspection it looks a little odd, not really any worse though it is
still great!, but the fact that you used so many image maps seems to show. I
don't know why but I have long felt that Pov-Ray just doesn't seem to render
image maps as well as professional packages like 3DSMax, they have an Unreal
Tournament texture feel to them.

Except for the cup, they look like they were made of fungus...the bowl
looks almost exactly like forms of tree fungus which feed on rotting
wood, the vase looks like it was made from a similar plant, and the jug
looks like it came from a giant puffball mushroom.

I noticed a problem where they rest on the wood...it looks like a
shading/shadow issue. It just looks artificial, like the objects were
placed in the image later.

Thanks all,

For me the main problem is the wall. I agree, there is something
a bit odd for a "realistic" picture, for an "artistic" picture
nothing is odd (I saw many time everywhere more odd thing than
this, go into a modern art gallery :)). Moreover I think that the
two light cause some (not all) of these problem.

Thanks again.

Fabian.
