Hummm, floating Christmas tree ornimants (?). How did you get that "ice
crystal" look on the surface?

Why reflections of course :)

Only if you promise to be a good little boy. Remember I know who had
been naughty and who has been nice.

That's one way to put simulated reflected rays through their paces. Must
have been a pretty good amount of trace level in there.

I have been thinking about trying it with photons but truth be told
I don't think I want to trash my hard drive with the memory requirements
that would be needed. This scene is using 95 megs of memory as it is
and with photons would be unimaginable.

I think I saw those the other night...
But maybe I'll get myself in trouble talking about it.

Try Linux ;)
Seriously, I've found the Linux (sorry Warp, Unix) version parses and renders
much faster with memory-hungry scenes, the advantage remains even if both Win
and Linux run way out of physical RAM with the scene. For some reason though, it
tends to be slower wih purely cpu-intensive scenes...

I knew there was a reason I wanted 4Gigs of RAM.
